What caused World War II?
World War II had began with the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty had been constructed in order to fix the previous damage from World War I, which Germany had done. The contract explained the rules Germany must abide too, as a form of punishment. These "rules" included:
1. War Guilt: Germany must accept the belief that they started WWI.
2. Compensations: Must pay a fine of 6.6 million for damage
3. Demilitarize:Germany may have only a small army and 6 naval
ships. Airships, tanks and submarine will violate this treaty.
Rhineland, must be demilitarized.
4. Territory: Land is to be taken away from Germany and distributed
to other countries.
Adolf Hitler had become chancellor of Germany in 1933. His rise to power began with his rebellious speeches of the treaty. Eventually the entire nation supported his belief and alliances with other countries where made. After pacts with many countries, invasions of other nations began. Hitler did not keep his word to many leaders and took military action, violating the Treaty of Versailles Evidently, the Treaty of Versailles was nothing but a mere paper to Hitler. His main interest now was the invasion and complete domination of Europe and eventually, the entire world.
